NC 1000 Yard BSA

Camp Butner is located north, northwest of Butner, NC. The beginning reference point is exit 191 off Interstate 85, as this exit has the majority of accommodations.

From exit 191

·        Head west on Hwy 56 approximately 0.4 miles to the traffic light at 33rd street (first light past the tracks).

·        Turn right.

·        Continue approximately 0.4 mile and bear right at the “Y” in the road.

·        Go approximately 1.7 miles to the stop sign.

·        Turn left.

·        Go approximately 0.4 miles to Range Road (Route 1121).

·        Turn right.

·        Go approximately 2.2 miles to a gated gravel road on the right.  This gravel road is the entrance to Range 4.

·        Turn right.

·        Once inside the gate, take the first right.  This gravel road runs behind the 1000 yard firing line berm.
